Have you ever wondered why we choose the words we use? Sometimes children have a better understanding of words than adults. Suit Shoes is the story of a child's journey with language and how grown-ups just don't get it. A perfect bedtime storybook and pre-K through 3rd grade classic.
Seeking to fill a void in children's picture books, McClendon wrote Suit Shoes based on conversations she had with her son, Tristin.
